The 'Werkgroep XVIIe Eeuw' (Netherlandish Society for Seventeenth-Century Studies) aims to promote interdisciplinary contacts between all those engaged in the study of the early modern Low Countries. Members are scholars in seventeenth century Dutch literature, history, art history, European literary studies, social history and history of economics and science. The Study Group has a board, and publishes a bi-annual journal, De zeventiende eeuw. Please contact the editioral board for information on the submission of articles, or books for review. You are invited to join the organization. Membership is open to all who are interested, and includes subscription to the journal (two volumes, approximately 400 pp. in total) and a reduction of registration fees when visiting the Werkgroep's annual conference. More information on the next conference can be found here.
